Mr. Pennyburrow

Born and raised in Cahoots, a small village in Glassighe of the Emerald Isles, Theodore comes from a long, successful line of lawyers and advisors. As the eldest of six siblings, he was frequently pressed into becoming the next one to represent their family, as his father was nearing retirement age.

Unfortunately, he consistently found himself poorly suited for the Emerald Isle's rigorous legal system, and had his sights set elsewhere. In a choice that the extended Pennyburrow family described as "deeply disappointing" and "not all that unexpected", Theodore departed after hearing word of a new settlement, and made way to Marrow Isle.

Since his arrival in Pumpkin Hollow, Theodore initially set out to strictly be a schoolteacher and part-time artist, but needs arose during the ever-growing calamities for someone to arrange a boarding house for the freshly-orphaned. Now, in a time with markedly less orphans (due to dying parents coming back a mere day later), he still performs this duty, and teaches classes for children of varying ages in the mornings.

Research

He's good at keeping his ear to the pavement, and knows where to find what information he needs in most circumstances. This is helped by being a bit of a gossip with the right crowd.

Musical Inclination

Having played violin since he was a kit and dabbled in other instruments in his later years, he's knowledgeable in both writing music (though he's very personal about his pieces), as well as teaching it to prospective musicians just getting started.

Practical Magic

Only subscribing to one school of magic ("The other ones come with too many strings attached", he'd say if asked), he knows enough practical magic to make getting through the day-by-day routines easier.
